Dear Light,
I am so grateful to the owner of my life, my strength and source, the love of my life, my lord, and my savior, to be able to write to you again. As I told you, God is always God; His goodness and faithfulness are constant. He is a just and fair God and is not biased at all. I have always heard the phrase, Identity crisis is the biggest problem a believer could have....and it is true, very true. Today I am speaking on the issue of jealousy. If you want to think about it, jealousy is indeed hating, simple, whether you take it or not. In my opinion, the day you and I genuinely have a true revelation of God's love, jealousy will stop brooding in our hearts. Do you see why I say its an identity issue? Because if you truly knew how much He loved you, you wouldn’t hate on your brother or sister. if we truly understood our identity in Him and how much He has done and is still doing If you and I focus on God, continue to live for him, and fix our gaze on Jesus, this jealousy matter will decrease. Why? Because we would realize that God does not love anyone more than the other, there is no favorite or best child of God. On this side of life, we share the same lover (Abbey Ojomu, 2022). 😂😂 did you see what i did there, clever ba? 😂
The day we realize that the reason God's presence is almost tangible and God's hand is upon a man or woman's life is not because God loves them more than you; it is simply because these people have labored and have stayed, they have denied themselves of their will, they have totally surrendered to the leadership and government of Christ, and many other things that we would never even know—they paid the price! Jealousy will stop brooding in our hearts. The depth you envy, the gifts they manifest, and most importantly, the fruits they bear—you like that, you desire them, thats good, but its not the time for you to stand in the shadow and start murmuring against them, or start being jealous of them, or start feeling less like God doesn’t love you as much...….no no no! Instead, its time to carry your cutlass to the farm and start working. What I mean is, its time to go back to your father, build your relationship with him, spend time with him, and ask Him what He would have you do, because it is only in His will that your enablement will come. Ezinne Zara once said that “everything you are looking for is also looking for you, but there is a version of you that these things are looking for.” So give no space to jealousy; instead, enter the secret place and stay with your father.
